SEMSA IKANOVIC /

Semsa was raised in a nearby village of Srebrenica, Bosnia. The town is infamously known as the site of the genocide of 8,000 Muslim Bosniaks in 1995. Semsa was brave enough to share her story and spoke about her experience when she took refuge in the United States. The documentary film attached is titled The Effect of War, and provides an eye witness account of the Bosnian genocide and a look into the mind of someone deeply affected by her past.
